I am currently Directeur de Recherche and Photobiology Team Leader, Sorbonne Universite, Paris.
My topic of research is on Quantum Biology: the effect of light and electromagnetic fields on living organisms. In addition to fundamental research on how quantum forces interact with living tissues, I am interested in applications of light (LEDs), pulsed electromagnetic fields (PEMF) and Radiofrequency fields (RF) as a tool for regenerative medicine and skin care. My team studies new ways to delay senescence, stimulate collagen, promote regeneration, wound healing, and reduce scarring. This is a new technology that should lead to significant benefits in the future, either alone or as an adjunct to pharmaceuticals or surgery.
