Dr Patrick Po Han HUANG

Patrick Huang, MD was hailed as one of the pioneers in expanding the roles of dermatologists in Asia.

He has been serving as Executive Director of the Taiwanese Dermatological Association since 2012 and established the Taiwanese Dermatology Aesthetic Conference and the Taiwan Society for Dermatologic and Aesthetic Surgery in 2013 and 2016, respectively. Dr. Huang revised the residency training program with intense training in skin surgery in Taiwan in 2017.

He has been in charge of organizing IMCAS Asia since 2014 and also serves as the Host/Mentor and mentor for the International Traveling Mentorship Program of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery since 2018. During the pandemic of COVID-19, he established the Cyber Conference of Aesthetic Dermatology and Skin Surgery in APAC (CyASIA) to provide online education in Asian time zones. He is the only dermatologist to be invited to be the Taiwan Ambassador of the World Congress of Dermatology 2023 Singapore and the Ambassador of Korea Derma 2023, respectively.

In addition, Dr. Huang runs a very busy but highly qualified clinic in Kaohsiung. There are three certified dermatologists, one surgery professor, and one certified senior plastic surgeon joining his team. His clinic was the first certified aesthetic dermatology clinic in Kaohsiung in 2020. Soon afterward, the office became one of the first eight clinics certified to offer cell therapy in Taiwan in 2022. Dr. Huang and his team received the Premium Prize for Taiwan's National Healthcare Quality Award 2022. Because of his contribution to medical education, Dr. Huang was elected as the Board President of Kaohsiung American School in 2016~18.
