Dr. Gonzalez is dermatologist. He received his board certifications in Dermatology in 2005. He is an active member of the Colombian Association of Dermatology and Surgical Dermatology and the American Academy of Dermatology. He has been secretary of the Colombian Association of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery (2008-2010). Currently is the delegate for Colombia in the Latin America Society of Psoriasis (SOLAPSO), Founding member of Colombian Psoriasis Group (CoLPsor) and member of The International Psoriasis Council (IPC). He has authored and co-authored several chapters in textbooks of dermatology and has been editor of Evidence-based Guidelines for the Management of Psoriasis in Colombia. In 2017, the Annual Meeting of Latin American Dermatologists (RADLA) will be held in Bogotá, and Dr. Gonzalez will serve as the congress chair.
